Today I ordered the invitations from
PSPrint.com. I designed them myself and then simply uploaded the design to their website--they're currently having a 60% off sale, so I got 500 invitations plus envelopes and 150 ceremony invite inserts (custom business cards) for about $150 total. I'm pretty proud of myself. Behold the awesomeness (and I'll have you know that I have absolutely no graphic design experience at all):

Yup, that's them. They should get here next week, and then I can start the exciting process of addressing and mailing them all. Yay! In other news: I now have a dress, and last week my mom and I got fabric to make my wedding veil and a lace bolero jacket. That'll be pretty exciting to do.
Also, last night I finished reading
One Perfect Day: The Selling of the American Wedding by Rebecca Mead. It was fascinating and eye-opening, especially since I'm in the middle of planning a wedding myself. I checked it out from the library after reading an interview with the author, which you can find
here if you're interested. I also wrote a short review on Goodreads, which you can read
here.
